I have always been a furry (trite, I know), but didn't know that there were others like me until the late 1980's (yah, I know, same as everyone else's story). I went by Simba back then (well before Disney's The Lion King came out), but changed to Lionman around late 1992 or early 1993 because people kept thinking that I was a chick because the name ends with an "a". In December of 2005, I decided that Lionman was too popular of a name (I couldn't sign up for *anything* online without being told my name was already taken) and changed (mostly) to Leander Tau. Hopefully, I can keep this one for a while. *sigh* In case you're curious, Leander = "lion-man" and Tau = "lion". w00t.
I am leonine most of the time, but recently, the lupine spirit has come to stay with me for a while. So, I guess I'm a lion/wolf hybrid... at least for now. Maybe not necessarily a wolf, but certainly canid and wolf seems to fit pretty well. Occasionally I take to other forms as their spirit moves through me. Most frequent of these are cheetah, gryphon, dragon, and shire horse, not necessarily in that order.
My past jobs have been mostly in the electronics and computer industry, but right now, I'm a home care worker. I still dink around with electronics and computers at home. I am unsure if/when I will return to a technical career.
